Trash’n Fashion Show

Sausalito Woman’s Club hosted a sustainable fashion show fundraising event in Sausalito, California to engage and educate the community on the importance of sustainability in fashion. Nadia designed a transformative runway gown out of six upcycled garments from second-hand stores. This dress goes from an oversized skirt to a short cocktail dress to an elegant evening gown. Not only is this gown made of deconstructed, old garments that would’ve ended up in landfills around the world, but its product lifecycle is extended substantially by being three dresses in one!
